Before The Cruise

Guests should plan to arrive the day before the cruise departs to avoid any potential flight delays, lost baggage, or other problems that may occur.  Should you need to arrive on the date of departure, we recommend that you schedule your flight arrival in New Orleans for no later than 1:00pm-CT.

Check-in and Embarkation for the cruise will begin at 12:00pm-CT, and you must be on the ship by no later than 3:00pm, as we will set sail at 4:00pm-CT.

After The Cruise

When booking your return flight, Carnival recommends scheduling your departure from New Orleans for after 11:30 AM-CT

There is not a specific dress code on board ShipRrocked, and there is no “formal night,” so formal attire is not required.  However, shirts, bathing suit cover ups and footwear (including flip-flops) must be worn at all times in the Lido Restaurant (buffet). We also request that guests refrain from wearing flip-flops or bathing suit attire in the main dining rooms.  Nudity is not allowed in public spaces throughout the ship.

The only dogs Carnival permits aboard our ships are working service dogs, which are legally defined and individually trained to meet disability-related needs by performing tasks like guiding a blind person, alerting a deaf person, pulling wheelchairs, alerting and protecting a person who is having a seizure, or performing other special tasks. Working service dogs are not pets.

Pets, or service dogs in training, are not allowed aboard. Emotional support dogs, which are not recognized by the Department of Justice, are also not permitted on Carnival ships.
