Health & Safety Protocol Update

As meteor season comes to a close and summer turns to fall, we continue to prepare for our migration to warmer climates. ShipRocked 2022 will be our most incredible adventure yet, and we can't wait to gather together again in January!

In the meantime, here is some very important and time-sensitive information about the Health & Safety protocols for your cruise.

We also want to make you aware of ShipRocked HQ's availability over the next two weeks.

Health & Safety

The Cave Services Department of ASK4 has received a number of questions from the Herd about what Health & Safety measures will be in place at the time of the cruise. We know how frustrating not having this info has been, and how eager you are to prepare your pelts for travel - us too!  Here is what we can answer for you now...

What Are Carnival's Health & Safety Protocols?

Carnival Cruise Lines has developed its Have Fun Be Safe protocols and procedures to provide the optimal guest experience while protecting the health and safety of everyone on board. Currently, guests on sailings through December 31, 2021, are required to be vaccinated and tested before their cruise. You can review the full details of Carnival's safety protocols by clicking here.

What About In Mexico?

The requirements for cruise operators to enter ports outside the U.S. continue to evolve. Several Caribbean ports have recently changed their policies on short notice. While Mexico does not currently require vaccinations for entry into Costa Maya or Cozumel, this could change at any time.

Will Proof Of Vaccination Be Required For ShipRocked?

Given the cruise industry's continued commitment to safely restarting operations, the uncertainty of air travel and port-of-call policies, and the unpredictable nature of the virus, we expect that Carnival will soon extend and apply its current protocols to sailings in January 2022, including ShipRocked.

Because we want everyone to be able and join us...

Our primary commitment is to protect the health, safety, and well-being of our incredible family of guests, artists, crew, and staff so that we can deliver the best possible onboard experience with the least amount of restrictions. We are also ultimately obligated to the rules and regulations implemented by Carnival and governmental authorities in the ports of call we visit.

While we await official word, you are strongly encouraged to familiarize yourself with Carnival's Have Fun Be Safe protocols and review the Health & Safety page of the ShipRocked website.

So What's Next

Because we anticipate that Carnival will require proof of vaccination to sail on ShipRocked in January, we are offering booked guests who cannot or choose not to be vaccinated before the cruise the opportunity to request a future ShipRocked cruise credit or cancel their reservation for a refund.

There is nothing you need to do for the moment except get ready to party like it's 1999 B.C.

You must have completed the entire cycle of required doses for your vaccine no later than 14 days before our sailing date. Be sure to schedule your vaccination so that the final dose is administered no later than January 7, 2022.

Contact Us before October 22nd to review all of your available options.

We respect your personal choice and are offering you the following options:

  • Future Cruise Credit - The Lead Guest for your stateroom must submit a request using this form by no later than 5:00 pm ET on October 22nd to have your SR22 funds applied towards our 2023 sailing or a future cruise.
  • Cancel For A Refund - The Lead Guest for your stateroom must submit a request using this form by no later than 5:00 pm ET on October 22nd to receive a full refund. Please note: All refunds will be issued by check within 30 days.

What If Protocols Change Between Now And January?

If we've learned anything over the last couple of years, nothing in life is certain! We are in constant communication with our cruise line partners at Carnival and will continue to keep you informed via email and on the Health & Safety page of the ShipRocked website about any updated policies and protocols as they are announced!

The staff of ASK4 Entertainment will be out of the office from October 6th through October 12th. We'll be sailing onboard the Breeze and planning your epic vacation!

Given the timing of our trip and this announcement, we have extended the window of opportunity for you to consider the information above, and so that we are better able to assist you!

Unfortunately, we will be unable to answer calls or live chat during this time. However, we will be available and responding to your emails. Please don't hesitate to Contact Us should you need assistance with your reservation or have any other questions about the cruise!
