The Cave Services Department of ASK4 has received a number of questions from the Herd about what Health & Safety measures will be in place at the time of the cruise. We know how frustrating not having this info has been, and how eager you are to prepare your pelts for travel - us too! Here is what we can answer for you now...
What Are Carnival's Health & Safety Protocols?
Carnival Cruise Lines has developed its Have Fun Be Safe protocols and procedures to provide the optimal guest experience while protecting the health and safety of everyone on board. Currently, guests on sailings through December 31, 2021, are required to be vaccinated and tested before their cruise. You can review the full details of Carnival's safety protocols by clicking here.
What About In Mexico?
The requirements for cruise operators to enter ports outside the U.S. continue to evolve. Several Caribbean ports have recently changed their policies on short notice. While Mexico does not currently require vaccinations for entry into Costa Maya or Cozumel, this could change at any time.
Will Proof Of Vaccination Be Required For ShipRocked?
Given the cruise industry's continued commitment to safely restarting operations, the uncertainty of air travel and port-of-call policies, and the unpredictable nature of the virus, we expect that Carnival will soon extend and apply its current protocols to sailings in January 2022, including ShipRocked.
Because we want everyone to be able and join us...
WE RECOMMEND THAT ALL GUESTS BE VACCINATED
Our primary commitment is to protect the health, safety, and well-being of our incredible family of guests, artists, crew, and staff so that we can deliver the best possible onboard experience with the least amount of restrictions. We are also ultimately obligated to the rules and regulations implemented by Carnival and governmental authorities in the ports of call we visit.
While we await official word, you are strongly encouraged to familiarize yourself with Carnival's Have Fun Be Safe protocols and review the Health & Safety page of the ShipRocked website.
