Our first and foremost concern with each ShipRocked sailing is to protect the health, safety, and well-being of our incredible family of guests, artists, crew, and staff.
As we navigate these uncharted waters, we are in regular communication with our cruise line partners at Carnival about their Have Fun Be Safe Covid-19 guest protocols. We expect that they will continue to change as we get closer to the cruise, and we will adapt and evolve along with them, as we've done for millions of years!
We will continue to keep you informed about new protocols that will impact your ShipRocked experience, and will update this page as well as email all guests the full details of any/all safety measures which will be in place at the time of our sailing that may impact your vacation.
As of September Carnival Cruise Line's current Have Fun Be Safe protocols and procedures have been developed in consultation with leading medical experts and public health authorities, and are designed to be effective and adaptable as the current public health situation evolves.
Currently, these protocols are in place for sailings departing after September 12, 2021, through the end of 2021. We do not currently have any information about what measures will be in place for January 2022.

ShipRocked is guided by and subject to the health and safety rules and regulations implemented by Carnival Cruise Line and applicable governmental authorities.
At present, neither has set forth any plans and protocols for cruises in January 2022, and we can not yet confirm whether guests will be required to show proof of vaccination at the time of our sailing.
As we learn more about what will be required in order to sail on board ShipRocked in January, we will keep you updated via email and this page.
In the event that proof of vaccination IS ultimately required by Carnival or governmental authorities in order to sail on ShipRocked, those guests who either cannot or choose not to be vaccinated before the cruise for any reason, will have the opportunity to request a future ShipRocked cruise credit or cancel their reservation for a full refund.
Those applicable guests who wish to receive a future cruise credit or refund will be required to submit their cancellation request within 14 days of the official announcement by ShipRocked that proof of vacation will be required.
All guests making reservations after the date of an official announcement will be asked to acknowledge at the time of booking that proof of vaccination will be required at the time of sailing.
Unless and until such an announcement is made, all guests are subject to the current cancellation policy as detailed in the SR22 Terms & Conditions.
If 2020 taught us anything, nothing in life is certain! However we do not anticipate that the 2022 cruise will be postponed. We are in constant communication with our cruise line partners at Carnival, and will of course advise you should anything change.

We know some of you may have questions about travel advisories or restrictions. As of now we are unaware of anything that might prohibit you from traveling to Galveston in January 2022. We will of course continue to monitor these matters throughout the year and contact you should any measures be put into place which might have an impact on your vacation.
We strongly recommend that all US resident guests purchase travel insurance from our friends at Travel Guard. There are a number of reasons it's a good idea to have it, from missed/cancelled flights, to lost or stolen baggage/personal items, illness/injury and much more.
